Welcome to TF-Rare-Pairings, a place where even the most unloved pairings will be loved!

To join, click on the 'Join!' If that doesn't work, comment/note and I'll invite you.

Some rules/guidelines:

+ This is both a fanart/fanfiction club. Both are accepted, and welcome.

+ OCs are NOT allowed.

+ Neither are art thieves, obviously. If your art has been stolen or you notice stolen art, please contact one of the mods.

+ If you are submitting fanart, please have both characters in the picture.

+ Lineart is fine, but if you submit a colored picture, lineart will be removed.

+ Going into the muddle of 'what is a rare pairing?' I'll say Jazz/Prowl is NOT a rare pairing, nor is Elite trinecest(Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker), or Elita/Optimus. You can ask me, or go to the following link: <[link]> and check how many stories there are (make sure to change the rating to 'all ratings'). If there are no more than a page or two (or none at all XD ) then consider it a rare pairing. You can look the pairing up on Livejournal too, if you want.

+ All forms of the 'formers are accepted (kitty-formers, bunnies, humans, etc.)

+ All continuities are accepted -- even Shattered Glass.

We've updated the rules by emphasizing the 'No OCs' rule and adding a 'No Art Thieves' rule. If you see art in this group with original characters or art that is stolen, please contact myself,

If you have submitted work with OCs or work that in other ways breaks the rules multiple times (2-3), we will:

1. We will send you a note that links you to the rules and tell you what you did.
2. If you stop posting work that breaks the rules, that's the end of it. If you keep posting work that breaks the rules we will warn you one more time and then you will be banned from the group.

TFP: Black Widow chapter 1A/N: After a conversation with a fellow Breakdown/Airachnid shipper named Lecidre, I got an idea of a story to write for the couple we both like. Yes, this is a Breakdown story. And yes, it pairs him with that creepy spidery chick who just so happened to kill him. Yes, I know a lot of Breakdown fans hate her now. No, I don't hold it against her. He tried killing her after all, so her fighting back isn't all that evil. Dismantling him and draining all his energon? That was a bit cruel, but then again he would have squashed her right then so, again, I can't fully hold it against her.
On another note, I do miss Breakdown terribly and wish they had took the whole Breakdown-Mech thing further. I had hoped they would revive him as Nemesis Prime, but that didn't happen...oh well, anyways, this will become Breakdown/Airachnid, but obviously such a thing cannot happen in a single chapter and be believable.

Sorry for the late reply! We're having a discussion on how to handle pairings that aren't exactly rare, but aren't popular. For your question, I'd say Tracks/Swoop, and Ratchet/Arcee (animated or prime I'm assuming) are probably rare, while the others fall into the grey area. But myself or another admin will get back to you on the other pairings once we come up with a consistent way of deciding these things.

In my person opinion, I'd say Astrotrain and Perceptor is a pretty rare pairing. Go ahead and submit it! We've kept artwork of pairings much more popular than that one. So you have my support!

I know there is a TF Rare Pairings LJ page and they count this as a rare pairing, but I want to make sure. Is RatcheWheeljack TFP a rare pairing?
